Power Edges are the key to unlocking the true potential of those with Arcane Backgrounds. They can mean the difference between an apprentice with a few abilities and a master of magic or divine energies!
Requirements: Novice, Armor Interference
Your Armor Interference counts as one level higher (so a character increasing their Armor Interference (Any) to (Light) could wear light armor and shields with no penalty).
Arcane Armor may be selected more than once.
Requirements: Seasoned, Arcane Background (Any)
Those who tangle with supernatural forces sometimes find ways to imbue powers into items. They may turn an ordinary blade into a magic sword, grant powerful potions to their friends, or even bless holy relics with divine grace
Artificers can create Arcane Devices and give them to their allies. Where possible, the device reflects the forger’s background. A bard’s Arcane Devices are works of art, such as a singing sword, a magical instrument, an epic poem, etc.
Requirements: Seasoned, Arcane Background (Any)
Whenever a character with this Edge gets a raise on an arcane skill roll, he can give the target of the spell a random minor spellblight. If the power was Veteran Rank or higher, it is a random major spellblight instead.
Requirements: Veteran, Arcane Background (Any)

Targets affected by one of this spellcaster's powers must make a successful Smarts roll to activate any of their Innate Powers or Mystic Powers (rather than the power activating automatically). This effect lasts until the end of the target's next turn.
Requirements: Heroic, Arcane Background (Cleric, Oracle, or Miracles)
The hero can convert a spell to interfere with an enemy’s attack.
When an enemy within Range Spirit hits an ally with an attack, you can spend 5 Power Points to apply a -2 penalty on the attack.
Requirements: Seasoned, Arcane Background (Any), Smarts d6+, Spirit d6+, must have a familiar
This familiar is different from others of its kind.

Requirements: Seasoned, Arcane Background (Any), must have a familiar
The spellcaster creates a mystical bond with a more powerful entity when gaining a familiar.
Instead of taking one of the standard familiars, this character can select one of the following creatures for his familiar.
Brownie

Dire rat
Elemental, small (any type)
Gremlin, nuglub
Inevitable, arbiter
Mephit
Paracletus
Pseudodragon
Quasit
Requirements: Novice, Arcane Background (Any)
An arcane character may learn two new powers by choosing this Edge (which may be taken multiple times). He may choose from any powers of his Rank or lower normally available to his particular Arcane Background. A character can add a new Trapping on a power she already has instead of gaining a new one. She might add an ice Trapping to her existing fire bolt, for example, so she could switch between ice and fire Trappings freely.
If a wizard takes this Edge, he may choose to learn two powers, as usual, plus a bonus third power, if he has discovered one contained in spellbooks or scrolls he has acquired. The wizard transcribes all three new powers into his spellbook and the original scrolls or spellbooks from which he gleaned his knowledge are added to his repository of notes and research in case he has to make a replacement spellbook in the future.
Requirements: Veteran, Arcane Background (Any)
Extensive studies have helped your hero develop methods to overcome spell resistance.

Requirements: Novice, Arcane Background (Any) or Mystic Powers (Any)
Wizards, sorcerers, and other arcane types always want more power. This Edge grants them an additional 5 Power Points.

Requirements: Wild Card, Novice, Arcane Background (Any), arcane skill d8+
